Booking a Performance

Since 2001 I have performed and taken workshops at many Oxford College Balls and functions, as well as at children's parties and promotional events. A selection of praise received after various engagements can be seen on the testimonials page.

Shows

There are four basic formats, but each display is individually tailored to the event and to your tastes so these are only a guide:

• Informal Display: displays take place in a specific area, at least 3m (10ft) square, marked in some way as off-limits to guests. On request, fire can be incorporated into the act. If required, displays can be provided almost continuously throughout your event up to a maximum of six hours.

• Wandering Entertainment: more suitable for evening events (indoor or outdoor), Globalls are used to great effect, allowing each guest to see up close a visually exciting light show (of which the image on the right is a small section). This format can be booked for up to six hours.

• Stage Show: shows are set to music and are choreographed on an individual basis, depending on your time requirements and venue layout.

• Workshop: "learn to juggle" for children or adults. A suitable duration is 1½ hours, or as required. All equipment is provided. Please note that workshops are not generally suitable for children under 8 years.

Fire

At outside events a fire display can be provided (from three to five torches). Fire juggling instantly adds an extra degree of excitement to any performance and you are advised to consider it. Fire juggling is very safe, and suitable precautions are always put in place.

Fees

The minimum fee is £125:

• Basic Fee: £50 per hour (minimum £100)
• Travel Expenses: £25 per 100 miles (200-mile round-trip) from Cambridge (minimum £25)
• Fire Juggling (additional flat fee): £50 (includes fuel and insurance)

Insurance

Third-party personal and property insurance is provided. This can cover up to five million pounds, or two million pounds for fire juggling. Please ask for further details.
